I'm considering making a smaller side project for practice's sake

So, I'm considering slowing things down with making this for a bit, not forever but for a bit, to practice making small horror games, so as to make sure I know how to make a sufficiently spooky game before I dive in with this one.

That being said, if I do indeed do that, updates on this project probably won't completely stop either, I'll probably keep working on the engine especially and making smaller updates here and there to everything in general. I just, before I start working on the level layouts too much, would like to make sure I can do with this game what I want to do with it, instead of taking chances and hoping I can like I had been previously planning. Yes, I've made horror stuff before, but not much of it, and even less has gotten publicly released or finished.

Also, apologies for it taking this long for me to get any more work done on the game, I've been feeling a bit down as of late and it's been hard to motivate myself to work on the game because of that. I want to do more for it than I have been, but haven't really been able to motivate myself to work on much of anything, not just this.
